November 11th Pre-Conference:
If you've always wanted to go to Ottawa for national ceremonies commemorating Remembrance Day, now's your opportunity. Come in Friday night and join us at the National War Memorial on Saturday morning. It is an experience like no other. We'll plan an optional social activity for that evening as well.

Ottawa Tourism Ideas
Ottawa is a fine place to visit! Check out the Ottawa Tourism website for ideas on what to see and where to eat! Take advantage of the "Flash Your Badge" promotion for special discounts and offers, including shopping and on selected restaurants. Conference badges can be available as early as Friday night, so use it (and your toque) to your best advantage.
BUYER BEWARE – event scammers are alive and well!!!
In a new way of scamming, there are companies that may send emails and/or make phone calls stating they are associated with or making all travel arrangements for attendees and exhibitors to the Canadian Association of Movers conference and trade show (#CAM2023). Please note that Canadian Association of Movers (CAM) is the sole provider of #CAM2023 and is not affiliated with any of these companies and advises you to exercise caution when contacted.
Housing Bureaus – They will contact you, via email or on the phone, claiming to have rates and room blocks for the Canadian Association of Movers conference and ask you for credit card information. CAM does not utilize any housing bureaus and you book directly with the Ottawa Marriott Hotel. CAM will advise on our website if the room block we have secured is near to full.
Airfare – There may organizations that call and state that they are booking all travel for the Canadian Association of Movers conference. They are not associated with CAM as you are responsible for your own travel arrangements.
Event lists - #CAM2023 attendee lists are confidential and not sold or made available to third parties. Beware of companies who offer to sell your Canadian Association of Movers conference or trade show attendee lists.
Corporate Pre-Show Videos - There are several companies offering to record a pre-show video. These companies are not affiliated with CAM and therefore we caution you in obtaining their services.
